Cemetery visits and deceased clergy of the Deanery

Each year in Bexley Deanery the clergy visit the local cemeteries in November. They join families and friends to pray for the dead, visit and bless the graves of our loved ones. Those who visit a cemetery on All Soul’s Day or adjacent Sundays to pray for the dead, can obtain a plenary indulgence for the Holy Souls.

The deceased clergy who served in our parishes are not forgotten either. A memorial Mass is held for them all. The Dean with the present clergy of Bexley Deanery will be celebrating their Mass on Friday 7 November at 10.30am at St Stephen’s Catholic Church, Deepdene Rd Welling, and everyone is welcome.

A list of the deceased clergy in PDF format can be viewed here.
